Accordingly to the flyers on travel agencies in Belgium, there are perhaps 5 most wanted destinies for Belgian people to go on holidays: Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greek Islands and Egypt.
During the work months, it’s not that expensive and not definitely far to explore all countries which surround Belgium.
For a country with such a good location, a good percentage of healthy people and easy speakers of foreign languages, it would be a pity to not discover at least the major cities of France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland or Austria.
However, when we speak about big summer holidays, other places come to Belgian’s mind. These are very welcoming places in summer time and not expensive options.

The second most occidental European country, Spain, it’s not an easy choice for Belgium in terms of what perfect region to pick up there. Galicia, Andalucía, Cataluña, Asturias are just some of the interesting counties to select. Moreover, two of the most known and important cities, Barcelona and Madrid, are alone two enriching places to visit.
